Happy 4th of July!

With kids named after former presidents... The 4th of July is a OUR kind of holiday!!!

{Red, White, Blue & Hawaiian. Windblown and ready to have fun!}

Our only "plans" for the 4th, consisted of our ward's 4th of July Breakfast & Bike Rodeo. There was great food, and all the kids were super stoked to show off their bikes, scooters, and wagons in the parade!!. Of course, in true Zach/Lincoln fashion, they had spent a good part of the Saturday before making a tiny train for Lincoln's 4-wheeler to pull. All the kids got to decorate their own "car", except for Jefferson... the girls helped him. Then they rode in style around the parking lot trying to avoid hitting the dozens of kids on their bikes and scooters! My kids were SO excited to be IN the parade instead of just watching one. So we bought a few pounds of candy that they could throw out to the spectators :) I think this was the first time they actually liked giving candy AWAY!!!

{Jefferson's car seat wedged perfectly in his car. Safety First!!!}

Our friend Diane had called a local firehouse to see if they could bring one of their trucks down... AND THEY DID!!! Anyone who wanted could go through the truck, and almost all the kids got to spray the fire hose! Most kids got soaked... as well as a few adults.
