This is dedicated to the one I love

{November 2002: Jared & Lindsey's Wedding}

Zach:
As of Today, June 9th 2011...

{Camping with some friends 2009}

We have been married for 3,671 days
(10 years and some change... our anniversary is May 19th).

{April 2003: We got a 10 man Jeep tent for our birthdays so we set it up in our house.
It filled the entire downstairs!}

We have owned 2 trucks, 1 mini van, 1 station wagon, 3 jeeps, 7 strollers, 13 bikes, 4 skateboards, 1 scooter, 1 pop-up camper, and 2 four-wheelers

{Fall 2006}

We have lived in 1 apartment and 2 houses.

{June 2006}

We have owned 7 different kitchen tables.

(Florida October 2006: Bun in the oven!)

We have visited Florida, New York, Idaho (the very tip), California, Arizona, and Utah together.

{St. George February 2008}

We've added 4 beautiful kids to our family.

{Jeep crib made... from scratch... the week before Lincoln was born. It was painted a light pink for our girls... and currently needs a fresh coat of GREEN paint for Jefferson. Tough guys like pink right?}

You've completed more "Honey Do" lists than a reasonable husband should have to.

{Bob Purdy's House 2009}

You've rocked more babies, changed more diapers, and lost more sleep than I can calculate.

{January 2007}

You hardly ever, and I mean EVER complain about ANYTHING!!!

{Benches you made per my request}

You have always been just as happy with a pot of ramen noodles as you are with a 7 course meal.

{Chris and Amy's wedding dinner at Olive Garden 2008}

You have filled our homes with creative and beautiful things.

{Castle Bed Made For Christmas 2008}

I have never known someone who could take on the amount of work and stress that you do, and handle it so flawlessly.

{March 2007}

I have never felt as comfortable to be myself as I do with you.

{September 2009}

I love the example you are to our kids.

{Picture courtesy of Lincoln... 2nd grade assignment 2010}

I always feel loved and appreciated by you.

{Dye Photoshoot 2009}

I remember specifically on our first anniversary thinking... "One year! Wow! I wonder where we'll be at our 10 year mark". Ten years seemed like FOREVER then. And now that it's come and gone, it's more like a flash of light. Or a blink of the eye. All I know is that I am one lucky lady. Thanks for being an amazing husband and father. I couldn't ask for a better partner in life and for eternity. Who knows what the next 10 years will bring... certainly more cars, kids, tears, joys, laughter, houses, flat tires, church callings, broken windows, scraped knees, golf club accidents, hunting seasons, family reunions, patience, kindness and love!

XOXO Kate

Africa

I am sure that a lot of you have heard me talk about my parents being in Africa, more specifically Zambia. Here is a picture I swiped from their camera while they were here. They have been working on building a children's village for my Aunt who runs a nonprofit organization www.motherswithoutborders.org . It's pretty amazing what they do over there (not just my parents but the whole deal). They have some fantastic serving opportunities if anyone was ever interested!
