Nighty Night: Follow Up

Zach cursed me for blogging about this so soon :)

The night I blogged about Jefferson sleeping so well.... he woke up 3 times! But he had something to show for it... His first tooth! That's right. Well into his 10th month he got his FIRST TOOTH! After that night... he slept every night since from 7:30ish to 6:00ish UNTIL his SECOND TOOTH popped through. Again, that was one night of waking up a few extra times, then the next night it was back to normal.

SO.... if he wakes up all night tonight... I'll probably postpone blogging for a year or two. I've really enjoyed sleeping in 5-9 hour stretches instead of 2-3.

{Reagan knows how to calm the teething beast.... She is such a "sucker" for his cute whine!}

Sunday Afternoons

This is just a typical Sunday afternoon. Daddy goofing around with all the kids (minus one sleepy baby).
We love having at least ONE day where Zach is home with us ALL DAY.

66 and lovin it!

Friday we had a high of 66. So this meant a quick trip to the park before we had to drop Reagan off at school. It was a half an hour well spent! The kids loved it, and I was so happy to get out of the house and breathe in the fresh air. The weather was PERFECT! There are many things people can criticize about Las Vegas, but mid 60's in December is NOT one of them!

(The littlest little monkey in all these photos is Kyra... she's a regular at our house Monday-Friday... she's been a part of our family since she was 2 months old. We love babysitting her!)

Happy Day!

Zach didn't have to work on Saturday (rather... he chose NOT to work) and to hang out with the family! Before we started a house overhaul we made homemade doughnuts! The kids loved cutting them out and loved coating them in cinnamon & sugar or powdered sugar EVEN MORE!!!! We made doughnut holes out of the centers and didn't waste any dough! For sure a REPEAT activity! Thanks Em for the idea!

NO! I did NOT catch him off guard when taking this picture. For some reason he likes to make faces like that almost every time I snap a shot of him! (He's not tired OR stoned either)

Messy helpers! I just love it that they like baking and cooking with me! I've learned to stop caring about the mess, and start enjoying the time we spend making it!

Happy Birthday...Reagan & Lincoln!

Here are some photos of the cakes that "Aunt" Liz made for Lincoln and Reagan! She is INCREDIBLE!!! Forget a regular 9x13! This made their birthdays even happier!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from our house to yours!

This is one of the HUNDREDS of photos that I found on my digital camera. I actually think it is amazing. I can't believe one of my little cutie pies took this! If I had tried, with our run of the mill camera, to take the same shot, I am SO sure that I could not duplicate this picture. So , thank you to Lincoln or Reagan or McKinley who found the camera that Mom didn't put away, and for taking this perfect Christmas shot.
(This is Reagan's little Christmas tree given to her by her Grandma Ginger, so my bet's on Reagan being the photographer)

Birds

Zach decided to take Reagan to scouts tonight to give me a few minutes with only 2 kids instead of 3. Lincoln feeling torn about not going with Zach says in an attempt to get her to stay "Reagan, are you sure you don't want to stay home? I'm going to be killing birds with my slingshot... and cutting off their heads!" To which Reagan replies in her high pitched voice (totally excited and not horrified at all) "YOU ARE!!" Where did I get these mean killer kids?
