Jefferson has become my little helper in the kitchen. He so willingly helps me empty all my cabinets of all dishes within grasp. His favorite are my GLASS baking pans. None of them are broken yet... but I'm not sure why. His latest "thing" is to crawl under my ovens when I take my flour and sugar out. He stays happy in there for 5-10 minutes, and then he freaks out because he can't step down the 6 inches to the floor. When I'm in the middle of baking or cleaning and I need to buy myself some more time... All I do is open my pantry door or fridge, and I let him go to town. It usually gives me just the amount of time I need to finish up whatever I'm doing, so that then I can pay attention to all 23lbs of his cuteness!
