WEEKDAY UPDATE

So it's Thursday... HOLY COW! Where did the past MONTH go?? Let me post a QUICK update because I'm SURE all of you are DYING to know what's going on in my life now and over the past few weeks!

MAJOR EVENTS:
-Nik & Amy's adoption to Benjamin was finalized (I went to the court house... it was AMAZING)
-Nik & Amy and Benjamin were sealed
-Benjamin was blessed
-Lincoln and Reagan saw Zach shoot a deer! (IMMEDIATELY after Reagan asked for some jerky)
-I went on an AMAZING trip to Washington (state) and saw WICKED and Forks in the same week! (Team Edward all the way)
-I rented a car BY MY SELF for the first time EVER!
-I celebrated Megan's birthday which was 9.9.09
-Reagan started preschool ... kicking and screaming... no exaggeration...
-Lincoln started 1st grade
-I bought an iphone and I LOVE IT (so do my kids). It's changed my life (and it can change yours... ask me how)
-My sister Emily and brother-in-law Sam went from family of 3 to family of 4 within 1 week without any notice! Adoption is an amazing process! (And I love the little guy already even if his name is Jacob NOT Edward)
-My new nephew Jacob had his feeding tube taken out and will most likely come home from the hospital TOMORROW (Friday).

Not so major events:
-I have TONS of tomatoes that I'm turning into salsa (thanks Ginger!!)
-I'm getting TONS of peaches... I LOVE TO CAN!
-Zach fixed our air conditioning in the van and saved us BIG $$$
-I'm re-reading the Twilight series b/c it's a free country and I can!
-My sister-in-law Emma cut my hair AGAIN... and I love it and her!
-My kids went to the Iron County Fair (Lincoln almost puked after the Ferris Wheel)

So I got back Sunday afternoon from my 6 day trip to Washington with one of my B.F.F's from Freshman year (the only year for me), and I feel like I haven't stopped running since. I love being a Mom, and I love being a Nanny to the kids I watch... and between those 2 jobs... I don't have a ton of time to do anything, let alone POST anything (blogger what?). I love reading and catching up on everyone's lives via blog and email. So if you haven't heard from me or seen me around it's not that I don't care... I'm just probably changing a dirty diaper or feeding one of the many hungry mouths around here! YES I'm alive, and YES we are still friends, and YES I would love a Diet Cherry Coke anytime you want to drop one off ( preferably around 1pm daily).

Pictures and videos and funny stories to come... but probably not for days! I've missed my family too much that I can't stand to be at the computer when they are awake (hence nap time right now)
